What Our Customer’s Say

Nima Bekloo

We had a major wasp problem in the backyard, talked to Doug and he sent us Russell… I found him very good at his job, one of those people who knows what he’s doing.

Peter Swensen

Top company. Russell was on time, friendly and knowledgeable. He treated the extremely large nest and will return to remove it was all the wasps are dead.

Sandra

Speedy response to my problem. European Wasps exterminated within 24 hours. Very professional service by a dedicated and reliable business. Have used them previously for rat removal also with excellent results. Highly recommended.

Rat Control FAQ

1. How do I know if I have a rat problem?

Yes, we are available for early morning starts, evenings and weekends at normal rates.

2. Are rats dangerous?

Pest-Zap uses safe pesticides, but we do recommend that you vacate if possible during the application and allow 3-4 hours after completion for the treatment to dry and the rooms to ventilate. We highly recommend asthma sufferers, pregnant women, babies and young children stay away during treatment and for a minimum of 4 hours after treatment.

Are my pets safe after the treatment?

There is little concern to the safety of animals as the amount of active ingredient that they may take in by contact or ingesting orally is too small to be harmful. However, we do recommend that you vacate your pets during the treatment application.

3. What’s the best way to get rid of rats quickly?

Professional pest control is the fastest and most effective solution. Pest-Zap offers same-day service with targeted treatments designed to eliminate rats and prevent their return.

4. Is your rat control safe for kids and pets?

Absolutely. Pest-Zap uses safe, approved products and techniques that are family- and pet-friendly, with a strong focus on health and safety.

5. Will the rats come back?

We provide a thorough treatment plan and pest-proofing advice. Plus, if rats return during the warranty period, we’ll retreat to the area at no extra cost.

6. Do I need to leave the house during treatment?

In most cases, it’s not necessary. Our technicians will advise you based on the treatment being used.
